Jane is a Chartered Financial Planner who has been involved in all aspects of providing Financial Advice for nearly 30 years and yet still manages to keep the same passion for delivering the best advice and helping individuals make the most of their finances.
Jane has set up several independent businesses, one being a 25-advisor national firm, but is now dedicating her time to running Money Honey Financial Planning, with the intention of building a small clientele of like-minded individuals who take their finances seriously and want to work with a professional advisor over the long term. Although Money Honey FP can help at all stages of life, delivering guidance and self-service options, Jane focuses on the period leading into retirement from 55 onwards and planning for long-life, using all of your assets to plan your spending needs in later life, help if you need it and estate planning to ensure your family can also benefit in the future.
She has been involved in all aspects of the provision of advice including using technology, working in compliance, dealing with complaints, liaising with the Regulator, trained and supervised other advisors, has been a Compliance Director and worked on numerous projects including ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ and the recent Retail Distribution Review which changed the way the industry gives advice. Her experience is extensive and her aim is to ensure all of that knowledge gained is used to provide the best advice service possible.
She loves using technology to make things more efficient and easy to use and specializes in video-conference advice, paperless processes where possible to keep costs down, and for clients to be fully informed and engaged in the options are available.
